Find a Belgian club, contact the correct squad and ask the right questions about trials and registration.

Find the club and the actual squad
Use the club’s official website and confirm the municipality, age category and training ground. A familiar club name can refer to several teams. Ask specifically for the youth coordinator, adult squad manager or recreational section rather than sending a general message about the professional first team.
What to put in your message
Give your age, current location, preferred position and previous club, if any. State whether you already play in organised competition and whether your previous registration was in Belgium or abroad. The club can then identify which process applies; do not assume that a trial invitation permits match participation.
Confirm costs and administration in writing
Ask about membership, equipment, insurance arrangements, training frequency and any separate tournament costs. Let the club confirm the documents and applicable registration process with its association. Deadlines and transfer requirements must be checked for the player’s own circumstances rather than copied from another club.
A trial is a two-way assessment
Check how the coach groups players, communicates feedback and manages attendance. For younger players, ask who is responsible for collection after training and how parents receive schedule changes. A suitable local environment is more valuable than a promise of rapid progression.
