Understand form, clean sheets, discipline and odds-derived probabilities without mixing their meanings.
To compare defending, look at goals conceded and clean sheets over a defined period. To compare discipline, check cards and minutes played. To understand bookmaker expectations, read a complete odds snapshot. These measures describe different things and should not be combined into an unexplained score.
Always identify the competition, season, number of matches and update date. Home-only records are not comparable with an opponent’s all-match record. A short winning run against weaker opposition does not automatically outweigh a longer sample against stronger teams.
A team with three clean sheets in five matches has a 60% observed rate in that sample. This is not a calibrated 60% chance of a clean sheet in its next match. In the same way, our normalized 1X2 percentages describe the bookmaker’s quoted market, not a separate statistical model.
Webfoot offers recorded fixtures and odds-derived match probabilities. It does not currently have a complete live goals, assists or disciplinary feed. The specialist guides explain how to assess those statistics without filling missing records with invented numbers.
